Back to Pesticide Use Enforcement
The size and diversity of California agriculture dictate a much more complex partnership between State and local pesticide regulatory authorities than anywhere else in the nation. DPR works closely with California’s county agricultural commissioners, who serve as the primary enforcement agents for State pesticide laws and regulations ( A Guide to Pesticide Regulation in California (2011), "The County Agricultural Commissioners", PDF (93 kb) .
