Department of Pesticide Regulation Launches Redesigned Website to Improve User Experience and Access to Health and Safety Information, Services, and Sustainable Pest Management Resources
DPR launches an updated website to improve user experience and access to data and reports, health and safety information for workers and the public, access to pesticide registration, licensing and enforcement information, and sustainable pest management and integrated pest management resources. The launch marks the department’s achievement of an early milestone in its 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.

“Our redesigned website delivers on our vision of a clear, accessible, easy-to-navigate website where the public can readily find information about our work and how it impacts them,” said DPR Acting Director Daniel Rubin. “It reflects our aim of continuously improving our protection of all Californians and our environment, by increasing access to information about, and transparency into, our work.”
The new website includes:
- New technology to improve searchability, align with modern web standards and increase usability on mobile devices.
- New organization to center safety and sustainable pest management information and to increase access to the resources and information that website users search for the most.
- Updated descriptions of the department’s work and programs that protect people and the environment.
- New “Get Involved” section to streamline and increase engagement with the public on DPR’s work and initiatives.
- Increased access to health and safety information, sustainable pest management resources, and licensing and registration services.
DPR identified the launch of its redesigned website – to improve user experience and access to regulatory actions and documents, health and safety information, sustainable pest management resources, and other information and materials – as a 2025 priority in its 2024-28 Strategic Plan. The department released the strategic plan in December of last year, outlining measurable goals and objectives to increase access to safe, effective sustainable pest management; track, evaluate and enforce safe pesticide use; foster engagement, collaboration and transparency; and promote organizational excellence and innovation.
The department will continue to refine the redesigned website to best serve all Californians and provide transparency into our work. For information on how to navigate the new site, please visit the department’s blog under the “Get Involved” section of the website.
