Notice of Completion of Risk Characterization Document for the Active Ingredient Fipronil

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has completed the risk characterization document (RCD) for the active ingredient fipronil. The RCD, December 2022 Final Exposure Assessment Document (EAD), and responses to comments from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment, and Fipronil Task Force on the draft RCD and EAD are available on DPR’s Fipronil Human Health Risk Assessment and Mitigation page under the “Risk Assessment Documents” tab.
