Amendment of Structural Fumigation Log and Pesticide Use Record Keeping Requirements

Effective October 1, 2024, the Structural Pest Control Board (SPCB) revised Title 16, California Code of Regulations (16 CCR) section 1970. Relative to structural fumigations, the revisions incorporate by reference the required information for structural fumigation log form. The updated Standard Structural Fumigation Log (Form number 43M-47, Rev. 6/2023) can be found on the SPCB’s website.

Additionally, the pesticide use recordkeeping requirement for each structural pest control application, other than fumigation, has been amended to include:

• Time of the application;
• Pesticide product name, including the EPA registration number or California registration number; and
• License number of the Field Representative or Operator who applied or supervised the application of restricted materials by a noncertified applicator, and, if applicable, name and license number of the noncertified applicator who applied the pesticide.
