Department of Pesticide Regulation Emergency Numbers

In the past, county agricultural commissioners had access to after hour telephone numbers for key managers at the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) in the event of an emergency. Since pesticide regulation activities were moved out of CDFA and the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) was created under the California Environmental Protection Agency these numbers have not been as readily available to commissioners.

Below you will find a list of after hour telephone numbers for those managers at DPR headquarters that you may need to contact in an emergency. Please also give me a courtesy call if you have an emergency, and contact your Senior Pesticide Use Specialist (Senior) or one of the managers listed below.

If you have an emergency incident, the Enforcement Branch should be the primary contact, beginning with your Senior. You and your staff should already have the after hour telephone numbers for the Regional Office personnel assigned to you.
