Department Of Pesticide Regulation Guide

Enclosed are two courtesy copies of our recently published “Regulating Pesticides: The California Story,” a 125-page history and overview of pesticide regulation.

This DPR Guide is an extensively updated version of a 1991 publication entitled “California’s Pesticide Regulatory Program” that was prepared for the Legislature to describe California’s pesticide regulatory program. The original publication was prepared as a report to the Legislature in May 1991, before the creation of the California Environmental Protection Agency, and when the State’s pesticide regulatory program was within the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
