Director’s Decision on an Appeal of a County Agricultural Commissioner Decision (Docket Number 159)
Enclosed is Administrative Docket Number 159, which contains the Director’s Decision on an Appeal of an Agricultural Civil Penalty, levied against Steven Clendenning by the Placer County Agricultural Commissioner for violations of Title 3, California Code of Regulations sections 6602, 6678, 6724, 6738, and 6726.
The Director upheld the County Agricultural Commissioner’s findings. The Appellant stipulated to three of the violations and asserted that he was not aware of the requirements under the other two violations. Individuals who operate businesses are required to thoroughly investigate all laws and requirements relating to the business, and comply with those requirements.
