Director’s Decision to Approve Metam-Potassium and Metam-Sodium Sprinkler 4:00 A.M. Start Method
The Director of the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has approved the interim use of the metam-potassium and metam-sodium (MITC)1 sprinkler 4:00 a.m. start method effective August 7, 2008. This method has been added to the list of current field fumigation methods.
The enclosures provide the regulatory requirements recommended for the fumigation method and include new Pesticide Use Reporting information. The fumigation method enclosures will be added to Appendix Section C.7 of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium, Volume 3 – Restricted Materials and Permitting in the next update, tentatively scheduled for next month.
