Enforcement Response Workshop Questions and Answers

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) held several workshops throughout the state for the County Agricultural Commissioners and their staff on the enforcement response regulations in 2006.

The workshops included an overview of the proposed regulations and a discussion on how to classify a violation. Many questions seeking clarification and specific examples arose during the workshops. As we committed to, enclosed is a list of those questions and DPR´s responses for your reference.

I do expect that you and your staff will have additional questions and examples as you implement the enforcement response regulations over the coming years. In these cases, please contact your Regional Office Supervisor. We will respond to these questions formally and may include them if appropriate as exercises in future training sessions.
