New Enforcement Branch Supervisors

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Regina Sarracino and Ralph Shields as the new Enforcement Branch Supervisors over the Headquarters´ Training and Compliance Unit and Northern Regional Office, respectively.

Regina earned a B.S. degree in Biological Science and began her career as an Agricultural Inspector II with the Pesticide Registration Branch of CDFA. She then served as a Supervisor of Registration for eight years and Ombudsman of the Registration Branch for the last 12 years. Regina now heads the Training and Compliance Unit, which oversees Enforcement Action tracking, Food Safety, coordination with the Structural Board, USDA, and US EPA Program administration, as well as Training and Outreach development. After earning a B.A. degree in Chemistry, Ralph began his working career in CDFA as an Agricultural Inspector in the Enforcement Branch´s Northern Regional Office. Ralph has a wealth of experience with Department of Pesticide Regulation serving also in the Environmental Monitoring Branch, Enforcement Branch´s Central Regional Office and for the last ten years as a Supervising Pesticide Use Specialist in the Registration Branch. Ralph´s new job finds him back at the Northern Regional Office coordinating the County Program Oversight, USDA Sampling, Product Compliance, Food Safety Residue Monitoring and EPA Grant Inspections.
