New Fact Sheet for Medical Supervision Employer Compliance

DPR has developed a fact sheet “Medical Supervision for Organophosphate and Carbamate Pesticide Handlers” for compliance with the medical supervision requirements in the California Code of Regulations Title 3 section 6728. The fact sheet includes the newest requirement for the medical supervisor to be registered with OEHHA.

Although the fact sheet will soon be posted to the DPR website, we encourage you to distribute the enclosed copy to employers and pest control businesses when issuing permits for use of applicable organophosphate or carbamate pesticide products. This is to assist those employers in protecting their pesticide handlers.
