Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium, Volume 1 – General Administration of the Pesticide Use Enforcement (PUE) Program
The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has finalized Volume 1, General Administration of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program, one of eight volumes forming the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium previously described in Enforcement Letter ENF 05-02. It replaces and supersedes portions of the Procedural Guidance for Pesticide Enforcement Personnel. Please have your staff begin using this reference.
This Volume is available for immediate download from DPR‘s web site at www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/compend/vol_1/. It contains six chapters and two appendices:
- Chapter 1-Pesticide Regulation: Authority, Structure, and Oversight
- Chapter 2-County Pesticide Use Enforcement Work Plans and Performance Evaluations
- Chapter 3-State License and Certificate Requirements
- Chapter 4-Pesticide Use Reporting and Operator Identification Numbers
- Chapter 5-Activity Reporting to DPR
- Chapter 6-Training and Tools for CACs
- Appendix A-County Registration Templates
- Appendix B-Disclosure of Public Records
A CD of this volume can be sent to each Country Agricultural Commissioner, upon request.
Any future changes to this volume in the form of new or updated procedures, policies, or interpretations will be issued as revisions to the Compendium. CACs will be notified of the revisions in an Enforcement Letter.
