Pesticide Use Report Data Transmittal to DPR

Counties currently submit Pesticide Use Report (PUR) data files to the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) via e-mail attachments or through the regular mail on floppy discs. I am requesting that every effort be made to submit the data through e-mail as attached files.

Using e-mail is quicker, less costly, and provides DPR and the county with a complete tracking of the data files. Occasionally, a floppy disc is damaged or lost during shipping. In these instances, DPR staff has to either contact the county to resubmit the damaged disc or is unaware that a disc was mailed. When a file is received here via e-mail, an acknowledgement is sent to the submitting county as verification of receipt.
