Regulatory Toolbox, Enforcement and Compliance Options, Enforcement Guidelines and Citable Sections

I am pleased to announce the completion of several Enforcement Branch projects:

• The Regulatory Toolbox. The Regulatory Toolbox is a laminated quick reference tool for inspectors, biologists and regional office staff. The Regulatory Toolbox will be distributed to Pesticide Use Enforcement-licensed staff during the next few weeks. A copy of the document will be posted on the Department of Pesticide Regulation’s (DPR’s) Web site.
• The Enforcement and Compliance Options Chart. The chart is a compliance assistance document which may be distributed by counties. Copies of the chart are available through the forms requisition process (PR-ENF-072). A copy of the chart is enclosed for your convenience. It will be posted on DPR’s Web site.
• The Enforcement and Compliance Options Poster. The poster is an excerpt of the Enforcement and Compliance Options Chart. It will be distributed to you in a few weeks.
• The technical revision of the Enforcement Guidelines. The Enforcement Guidelines are a joint regulatory enforcement tool developed by DPR and the California Agricultural Commissioners and Sealers Association. It is available on DPR’s Web site at www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/guidelns.pdf.
• The Citable Sections. The Citable Sections is a reference tool for pesticide regulatory staff. This regularly updated document is available on DPR’s Web site at www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/admnacts/citsec.pdf.

These projects are designed to be reference tools for pesticide regulatory personnel or compliance assistance tools for regulated persons and businesses. I am confident you will find each of them useful.
