Revision And Update of the Enforcement Branch’s Existing Training Modules
The Department of Pesticide Regulation’s Enforcement Branch Training Liaison Committee (TLC) plans to update the training packages used to train county agricultural commissioner’s staff. The training packages that are most in need of updating include:
- Investigative Sampling
- Investigative Techniques
- Methyl Bromide Field Fumigation
- Procedural Guidance for Pesticide Enforcement Personnel
- Restricted Material Permits and Certification
- Worker Protection Standard
The TLC plans to work on three of the packages this fiscal year. The remainder of the packages will be updated in subsequent years.
To help determine which packages to work on first, we request your assistance to rank the packages you believe should have the highest priority for this fiscal year. Please rank the six packages in priority order (with 1 being the highest, and 6 the lowest priority) and forward your comments no later than December 31, 2002, to Mr. Mostafa Chrichi, of my staff, at mchrichi@cdpr.ca.gov or by regular mail at the address on the letterhead.
If you have any questions pertaining to this document, please contact your Senior Pesticide Use Specialist Liaison.
Sincerely,
