School Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Exposition
The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR), in cooperation with the Marin County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office, has scheduled school IPM training at San Marin High School in Novato on July 18, 2001.
The Food and Agricultural Code section 13185 states that DPR shall establish an integrated pest management training program in order to facilitate the adoption of a model IPM program and least-hazardous pest control practices by school districts. Therefore, DPR has scheduled a School IPM Exposition for school district personnel and county agricultural staff. Counties and school districts will be reimbursed for employees’ travel and per diem expenses (e.g., commercial air fare, vehicle mileage, meals, lodging, incidentals) in accordance with their practices and current rates. County and school district employees are to submit claims for reimbursement directly to the respective county or school district. Counties and school districts must submit invoices in duplicate on their letterhead and must include the following statement: “This claim for reimbursement has been reviewed by ___________ County/School District pursuant to current county/school district policies and procedures. ____________ County/school district is requesting reimbursement for expenses incurred”. An authorized agent must sign invoices. Submit invoices to:
