Structural Pest Control Training
The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has scheduled structural pest control training in two locations this year. The training is a cooperative effort of DPR’s Enforcement Branch, the structural pest control board (SPCB), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), and the California Agricultural Commissioners and Sealers Association.
The Business and Professions Code section 8616 states that no disciplinary action by a county agricultural commissioner (CAC) maybe taken in the structural pest control enforcement program against a licensee of the SPCB until training has been completed. Therefore, DPR has scheduled basic training for new CAC staff. This training will include representatives from other states and tribes covered by U.S. EPA Region 9.
These are the sites and dates for the training.
