Training Course “Investigation Procedures Training”

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) Enforcement Branch and Worker Health and Safety Branch are providing a joint one-day intermediate level investigation procedures training for County Agricultural Commissioner (CAC) pesticide use inspectors/investigators who:

  • Understand the basic principles of an investigation,
  • Understand basic investigation procedures and techniques, and
  • Perform or have been involved in investigation(s).

The training session starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 8:30am. This one-day training will be held at the following nine locations throughout the state.

To sign up staff, the CAC or the program’s supervisor can nominate their pesticide use enforcement staff by completing the online registration form at surveymonkey by the August 23 deadline. Use the form to nominate up to 8 staff per county with their location choice(s). If you need to nominate more than 8 from your county, please contact Leonard Herrera, Sr. Environmental Scientist at Leonard.Herrera@cdpr.ca.gov. A confirmation email will be sent to the submitter to confirm each attendee’s registration.
