Training Dates and Locations – Advanced Investigation Procedures
The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) will conduct eight training sessions for County Agricultural Commissioner staff on Investigation Procedures, Volume 5 of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium.
This is an advanced training session, designed to be more interactive and builds on the Investigative Procedures training DPR conducted in the past. Participants should have performed or been involved in an investigation and have a basic understanding of the procedures involved in conducting investigations, from formulating an investigative plan to finalizing the investigation.

The focus of the training will be:

- Sampling Issues,
- Confidentiality Issues,
- Case File Development,
- Others
The training session will run from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be held in the following locations:

Please review the Investigation Procedures Manual prior to the training. Bring the manual to the training. If you do not have a copy, it is available on-line at www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/compend/vol_5/invstprc.htm.
To attend a training session, contact Mr. Mostafa Chrichi by e-mail at mchrichi@cdpr.ca.gov no later than two weeks prior to the training. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.
In the event that there is no state budget by October 2010, we will only conduct the Stockton, Colusa, and Fairfield sessions. The other locations will be rescheduled and conducted after the state budget passes.
