Training Dates and Locations for Inspection Procedures, Compendium Volume 4, Including WPS Revisions
The Department of Pesticide Regulation will conduct training sessions for County Agricultural Commissioner’s (CAC) staff on Volume 4 of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium, Inspection Procedures. The training will cover information, policies, and procedures for CAC staff to conduct pre-application site, fieldworker safety, pesticide use application and headquarters inspections. The class will include the updated California Pesticide Worker Safety Regulations that meet the new federal Worker Protection Standard (WPS).
Each training class runs 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with an hour break for lunch and will be held at:

To register for a training session, please complete the enclosed registration form and email it, no later than two weeks prior to the requested training date, to Enf.Training@cdpr.ca.gov. To help in class discussions, we are also collecting questions you have about inspection procedures. Questions can be submitted to Enf.Training@cdpr.ca.gov when registering for a class. Hard copies of the updated manual will be distributed to CAC staff attending the training.
