Training Sessions on Soil Fumigants, Sign-Up

This is a reminder that the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) will be conducting five training sessions for County Agricultural Commissioner staff on the newly developed U.S. EPA soil fumigant labeling and DPR’s recommended permit conditions for MITC-generating pesticides (reference DPR letter ENF 10-22 for details).

To attend a training session, contact Mr. Mostafa Chrichi by e-mail at mchrichi@cdpr.ca.gov no later than two weeks prior to the training. (Note that each location still has space available at this time.) A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.

The recommended permit conditions are available online www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/compend/vol_3/rstrct_mat.htm. We highly encourage staff attending this training to review these materials prior to the training.

Also note that DPR has set up a new website that contains copies of approved labels.
