Updates to Volume 2, Laws and Regulations, Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium

This letter announces the availability of, and summarizes updates and changes to, Volume 2, Laws and Regulations, one of eight volumes of the Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium.

This update includes grammatical corrections and the following amendments, additions, and deletions:

Title 3, California Code of Regulations

• Section 6452.2(a) & (c): Revised VOC Emission Benchmarks
• Section 6800(b): Addition of 40 chemicals to the Groundwater Protection List. One chemical was amended: Fosetyl-Al and Acrolein was deleted.
• Section 6860(a): Endosulfan added to Toxic Air Contaminants List

Business and Professions Code

• Section 8572: Section added on Probationary Licenses.
• Section 8623: Section added regarding Criminal History of Licensees.

Title 16, California Code of Regulations

• Sections 1937(c) and 1950: Amended to reflect new IPM requirements
• 1950.5(m): Added to reflect new IPM requirements
• 1953(3)(D): Deleted (reference to Form 43 M-39). Subsection (3)(E) renumbered to become new subsection (3)(D).

This update is being delivered in three separate documents, reflecting the code. To print the revised portions of the manual, select from the enclosures or go to www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/compend/vol_2/lawsregs.htm.

It is recommended the sections be printed back-to-back. Remove the old sections from the manual and insert the new sections.
