Updates to Volume 3, Restricted Materials and Permitting, Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium, Including Link to Tarp List

This letter announces the availability of updates to Volume 3, Restricted Materials and Permitting. Please have your staff begin using these updates as soon as possible.

Updates are enclosed and will be available online at the link provided below. Remove the old sections from the manual and insert the new sections:

• Front cover
  • Added Enforcement Branch main and FAX telephone numbers to inside front cover
• Appendix A, Glossary
  • Under Acronyms, added TIF – Totally Impermeable Film
  • Added a definition and link to DPR’s approved list of California-specific TIF tarps when using chloropicrin as a soil fumigant
  • Updated links
• Appendix D, Recommended Permit Conditions for Rice Pesticides
  • On page D-17, third bullet, replaced “video” with “presentation”
