Volume 2, Laws and Regulations, Pesticide Use Enforcement Program Standards Compendium

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) is issuing a CD of the 2010 Enforcement Program Standards Compendium Volume 2, Laws and Regulations. This CD consolidates the updates issued in enforcement letters since the last CD was sent in September 2008.

For those persons who have maintained their Volume 2 Manual by printing and inserting the periodic updates issued through enforcement letters, there may be no reason to re-print. This disk is primarily being provided for ease of creating a “new” manual for new personnel. As always, the manual is created to be printed back to back.

The following laws and regulations pertaining to the pesticide regulatory program are included:

  • Food and Agricultural Code (FAC)
  • Title 3, California Code of Regulations (3CCR)
  • Business and Professions Code (BPC) relative to structural pest control
  • Title 16, California Code of Regulations (16CCR)
  • Excerpts of the Labor Code (LC) relative to Farm Labor Contractors
  • Excerpts of the Health and Safety Code (HSC) regarding pesticide poisoning and vector control.

Staff is encouraged to access the officially maintained versions of the appropriate statutes and regulations prior to taking any enforcement action. Links to official sites are available from DPR’s website at: www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/compend/vol_2/lawsregs.htm.

Please note: The laws and regulations found on DPR’s webpage are formatted differently than those on this CD of Volume 2, and have different pagination.
