IPM Grants
To accelerate the adoption of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Sustainable Pest Management (SPM) across the state, the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) offers grants for outreach and research.
Our Grant Programs
We offer two annual grant opportunities: the Alliance Grants Program and the Research Grants Program, which both fund projects that aim to reduce risks to public health and the environment in agricultural, urban, or wildland settings. The Pest Management Advisory Committee (PMAC) works with us to identify and promote strong IPM practices by reviewing and ranking submitted proposals. Together with PMAC, we provide funding recommendations to the department’s director, who determines the allocation of funds.
Alliance Grants Program
The Alliance Grants Program funds projects that promote or increase the implementation, expansion, and/or adoption of effective, proven, and affordable IPM systems or practices.
Our Alliance Grants ProgramResearch Grants Program
The Research Grants Program funds research that advances new IPM knowledge. Projects should focus on reducing impacts to public health or the environment from pesticides of high regulatory interest.
