Alliance Grants
What Is Our Alliance Grants Program?
The California Department of Pesticide Regulation’s (DPR) Alliance Grants Program provides funding to projects that promote or increase the implementation, expansion, and/or adoption of effective, proven, and affordable Integrated Pest Management (IPM) systems or practices that reduce risks to public health and the environment in agricultural, urban, or wildlands settings.
Successful applications will demonstrate strong partnerships, outreach, and/or an educational or training component to promote IPM and the broad application of the proposed IPM systems or practices. The most competitive Alliance Grant projects are those that can serve as a model, have a high potential for wide adoption, and do not focus on conducting research.

DPR Office Hours
To assist you with questions about applying to our Grants Programs, DPR offers year-round 30-minute appointments. In these 30-minute appointments, we can answer questions about the Program scope and discuss the application process.
Please note that the discussion may not focus on any of the criteria or aspects that are competitively ranked by DPR staff and Pest Management Advisory Committee (PMAC) members when reviewing and ranking proposal applications. For example, we cannot provide guidance on topics such as choice of proposal topic, quality of ideas, or experimental plans.
Funded Grant Projects
Every year, our grant recipients encourage us to think differently about IPM. Take a look at our most recent project awards to get an overview of the work scope and project goals that earned DPR funding.
