Research Grants
What Is Our Research Grants Program?
The California Department of Pesticide Regulation’s (DPR) Research Grants Program provides funding for research that advances new integrated pest management (IPM) knowledge. Projects should reduce risks to public health and the environment in agricultural, urban, or wildland settings. For projects focused primarily on conducting outreach, see our Alliance Grants Program.

DPR Office Hours
To help you with applying to our Grants Programs, we offer year-round 30-minute appointments. In these 30-minute appointments, we can answer questions about the Program scope and discuss the application process.
Please note that the discussion may not focus on any of the criteria or aspects that are competitively ranked by DPR staff and Pest Management Advisory Committee (PMAC) members when reviewing and ranking proposal applications. For example, we will be unable to provide guidance on topics such as choice of proposal topic, quality of ideas, or experimental plans.
Funded Projects
Every year, our grant recipients encourage us to think differently about IPM. Take a look at our most recent project awards to get an overview of the work scope and project goals that earned DPR funding.
