Notice of Completion of Final Risk Characterization Document and Final Exposure Assessment Document for the Non-Agricultural Uses of the Active Ingredient Imidacloprid

The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has completed a final Risk Characterization Document (RCD) and final Exposure Assessment Document (EAD) for the non-agricultural uses of the active ingredient imidacloprid consistent with requirements in Food and Agricultural Code (FAC) section 12838. In March 2024, the draft RCD and EAD were provided to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) for scientific peer review. DPR revised the RCD and EAD following review of updated databases and published literature as well as comments and submitted data received as a part of scientific review.
