Tarpaulins to Receive 60% Buffer Zone Reduction Credit
Back to Chloropicrin Regulatory Documents and Activities
Starting January 1, 2016 all tarps to receive 60% buffer zone reduction credit for products containing chloropicrin will be listed on DPR's California specific tarpaulin list. The tarpaulins have been tested under high relative humidity conditions, which are common in California field applications. The list is a subset of tarps on the U.S. EPA list that qualify for buffer reduction credits for chloropicrin located at: https://www.epa.gov/soil-fumigants/tarps#chloropicrin.
DPR only recognizes buffer zone reduction credits for the tarps qualified to receive a 60% reduction credit.
