Section 18 Emergency Exemptions
Back to Pesticide Registration
Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Section 18 authorizes the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to allow a federal or state agency the ability to grant the use of a pesticide product without registration, if an emergency condition exists. The issuance of an Emergency Exemption is not the same as the issuance of a product license.
