DPR 19-001 Public Health Exemption (Noticed 6/7/19; Comment period closed 7/23/19)
DPR adopted section 6621 of Title 3, California Code of Regulations. When a health emergency is declared by the Director of the Department of Public Health or a local health emergency is declared by a local health officer, this action exempts a public agency, or its contractor, from the requirements of getting consent from and providing notice to a property owner (or operator) before directly discharging a pesticide on the property owner's (or operator's) property. This regulation was filed with the Secretary of State on April 6, 2020, and became effective upon filing.
